In early sobriety I so badly wanted to be a journal-er but just couldn’t find the time. Looking at a blank journal was daunting and I instantly felt lost and overwhelmed. Can you relate?
So being the overly-caffeinated-problem-solver I am, I created my own journal (the Decidedly Dry Journal). One where I could do a simple check-in, answer a few questions, track my days, and have space for a brain dump if needed.
The habit of journaling soon became a game changer for me. What a beautiful way to help me identify areas I need to work on, and yet provide a safe space where I can celebrate my progress.
