Thankful.
Thanksgiving has come and gone. As I grow older (yes, the big 4-0 is on the horizon), I’ve realized my list of gratitude continues to get longer and longer. What a gift, right?
At the top of that list is all the amazing people who have lived life with me this year.
The people who’ve pushed play on the podcast and the ones who take the time to read the words I pour out onto this here page.
I’m thankful for the sober curious ones that quietly follow along, the ones that are newly sober, message me their day count, and occasionally mention a small win - which as we all know, are actually BIG wins.
I’m thankful for the people who inspire me to keep creating, the ones who motivate me to continue my own personal alcohol-free journey, and the ones who’ve celebrated my God-curious journey.
I’m thankful for the confident, brave guests who come on the show and share their story. For the recovery community that continues to support me, lock arms with me, and challenge me to keep serving.
I’m thankful for a handsome, hard-working husband who puts up with all my crazy, loves me unconditionally, and is my biggest fan.
I’m thankful for two adventurous, loving boys who remind me daily that the greatest gift and blessing in life is being a mom.
I’m thankful for family members and friends (near and far) who blow me away with their constant encouragement and kindness.
I’m so incredibly thankful for each and every one of you.
